Sound investment: Enron, which stars Sam West, second left, has been given an extended run in the West End after wowing London audiences at the Royal Court |
The play, which uses music, dance and video in a highly inventive staging, tells how US energy company Enron was brought down by dodgy financial dealings.
It will now close on 14 August, the ninth anniversary of a whistle-blowing letter that precipitated Enron's collapse.
The show has been nominated for six Olivier Awards and has already scooped best director awards from the Evening Standard and the Critics Circle for Rupert Goold.
Producers have also scheduled a 10-week tour of Britain for the autumn. A Broadway production is due to open in April.
